‘GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS”
The celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Cradock Baptist Church began on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 4:00 PM with a concert by Mary McDonald (marymcdonaldmusic.com). What a blessing to hear Mary’s testimony and her beautiful music. Thank you Mary McDonald!
On October 13, 2019 , the 11:00 AM worship service was a service of celebration, joy, memories and hope. Mary McDonald joined us in leading a celebration filled with our favorite hymns and more performed by our Anniversary Choir. The message was delivered by Rev. Reggie Kirkman who grew up in Cradock Baptist Church. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and remembrances with pictures from many of the 100 years.
The anniversary worship service message will be shared by Rev. Reggie Kirkman. Rev. Kirkman spent his early years at Cradock Baptist Church along with his parents and siblings. The Kirkman family served faithfully in our church for many years. Rev. Kirkman is currently co-pastor of Chesterfield Community Church (Southern Baptist) in Chesterfield, VA. His message as delivered in the name of the Lord and filled with memories of his years at Cradock Baptist Church and remembrances of teachers, pastors and members who helped to mold his life. It was truly a gift to have Rev. Kirkman, his mother and his sister with us for the celebration.

Once again Bob Burroughs has arranged music for us as he did for our 95th anniversary when we were blessed by “Psalm 95” performed beautifully by our anniversary choir. For our 100th, we were blessed by “Praise Him! Praise Him!” arranged by Bob Burroughs. Thank you Bob Burroughs!
Thank you Jackie Phillips for orchestrating the absolutely magnificent 100th Anniversary Music celebration. As always it was a glorious music ministry wrapped in God’s love.
